Pella Corporation and its philanthropic arm, the Pella Rolscreen Foundation, continue their commitment of investing in education to imagine, build and fight for a brighter future. The Foundation’s Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program equips outstanding high school graduates, whose parents are Pella team members, with financial support as they further their education. This year, the scholarship program selected 42 students, including four first-generation college students, that represent Pella locations in Iowa, Florida, Kentucky and Illinois.

Students pursuing four-year bachelor’s degree programs were granted $10,000 scholarships ($2,500 annually), while those pursuing two-year degrees received $2,000 scholarships ($1,000 annually). Selected from a talented pool of applicants spanning 61 high schools across 17 states, the 2024 recipients were selected by external judges based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service, and essays.

“Investing in students today helps pave the path for tomorrow's leaders,” said Jessica Klyn de Novelo, Community Relations and Foundation Manager at Pella. “Pella proudly supports our team members and their families in their educational goals, and the Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program is an ongoing initiative that brings forth a promising future for generations to come.”

Since its inception in 1979, the Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program has recognized nearly 850 exceptional high school graduates. The Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program is part of the Pella’s charitable giving, which includes community betterment grants, a generous employee Matching Gifts Program, and a Volunteer Program that rewards team members and their spouses for volunteerism by providing a grant to an approved organization of their choice. Investing not only in the children of team members but in team members themselves, Pella also offers a Tuition Assistance Program to help further their education and support career advancement within the company.
