October 8, 2024 (press release) –
James Cropper has launched a new name for it’s revolutionary coating technology for PEM electrolysers. Resillion™, as the tried and tested technology will now be known, is uniquely engineered to deliver both enhanced component performance and design flexibility.
The proprietary technology leverages over 10 years of research and development by a dedicated team of electrochemists to deliver enhanced conductivity, reduced contact resistance and corrosion protection in titanium components including bi-polar plates, PTL’s, sinters and meshes. The application of Resillion™ ultimately improves stack performance and efficiency, extending the lifetime of stack components to maximise durability and profitability.
Differing from traditional PVD and Electroplating technology, Resillion™ offers unique benefits to electrolyser manufacturers, including excellent coating adhesion, the ability to rapidly scale production and, crucially, flexibility to coat components with a wide range of sizes and shapes. A further key advantage of Resillion™ is the capability to maximise platinum efficiency for complex shapes.
