The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) recently announced its Top Performers that will be highlighted at the PSC Booth at SUPERZOO SuperZoo 2024, which takes place August 14 to 16 in Las Vegas.
In order to reduce the environmental impact of their business operations, companies must understand where they are today, set science-based targets for reduction, develop strategies to achieve their targets as well as monitor their progress and re-evaluate strategies, as needed.
These top-performing companies were selected for their outstanding sustainability efforts and alignment with the globally recognized Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The PSC’s accreditation process assesses companies based on their commitment to sustainability across various domains, including human rights, labor practices, environmental management and good governance.
The Baseline Module
Designed to be comprehensive and rooted in the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact as well as the SDGs, the Baseline Module covers cross-cutting principles across all SDGs and demonstrates a general commitment to them, focusing on topics such as human rights, labor practices, environmental management systems and good governance.
