March 12, 2025 (press release) –

BREWSTER, NY and SEATTLE, WA, March 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/– Today, Ace Endico, the premier specialty foods distributor in the New York Metropolitan Area and New England, and iFoodDS, the leading provider of food traceability software, announced a partnership to enable Ace Endico to capture, store, and share data required by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Traceability Rule, FSMA 204(d).

The Food Traceability Rule establishes traceability recordkeeping requirements for businesses that manufacture, process, pack, or hold certain foods to facilitate faster identification and rapid removal of potentially contaminated food from the market.

The iFoodDS traceability platform, purpose-built for FSMA 204 compliance, offers flexible options for capturing and storing required FSMA 204 data. By enabling companies like Ace Endico to leverage data from their existing systems, the iFoodDS solution reduces costs and operational complexity.

The partnership highlights Ace Endico’s family tradition of quality and service, and commitment to food safety. iFoodDS will enable Ace Endico to easily share required data with their foodservice customers. The platform supports multiple methods for sharing data, ensuring that Ace Endico can meet the needs of its customers while efficiently meeting regulatory requirements.

“As a family-owned business, we have always prioritized building trust with our customers through exceptional service, quality, and food safety,” said John Walsh, Director of Compliance and Human Resources at Ace Endico. “Partnering with iFoodDS allows us to meet FSMA traceability requirements without disrupting our existing operations.
