PulteGroup, Inc. (NYSE: PHM) has partnered with The SkillPointe Foundation to launch a new $100,000 investment in scholarships that began last month for individuals of all backgrounds pursuing careers related to residential homebuilding and technology.

In recognition of PulteGroup's 75th anniversary, the company expanded its investment in the “Build Your Future” SkillPointe Scholarship. The program will award 20 scholarships, divided between students pursuing university degrees in construction-related fields and those seeking careers in the skilled trades. This enhanced commitment reinforces PulteGroup's mission of building incredible places where people can live their dreams.

"Building quality homes requires exceptional talent, and we're committed to creating educational pathways for the next generation of homebuilding professionals," said Kyle Walters, VP of Talent Attraction & Acquisition at PulteGroup. "While our industry faces both a skilled trades gap and misconceptions about careers in homebuilding, programs like our 'Build Your Future' SkillPointe Scholarship and 'Framing Your Future' internships are breaking down these barriers. We're investing in diverse talent – from future business leaders pursuing university degrees to skilled tradespeople earning certifications – because we recognize that every role is crucial to building America's homes."

The Atlanta-based SkillPointe Foundation will oversee the scholarship program, drawing on its proven experience managing scholarships for major organizations like 3M, The Home Depot Foundation, Schneider Electric, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and others.

“Both PulteGroup and SkillPointe Foundation share a commitment to bridging the skills gap and building tomorrow’s workforce,” said Alvin Townley, founding executive director of the SkillPointe Foundation. “We are honored to help prepare the leadership and workforce that will build the new housing many fellow Americans need.”
