November 5, 2024 (press release) –
Hounds Town USA, the one-of-a-kind pet care and boarding facility, recently announced the opening of its newest location in Allegheny County. Located at 150 Rosslyn Road in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, this facility will be the third Hounds Town in the Pittsburgh area, just 10 miles from its first location in the Strip District. The Carnegie location will be owned and operated by Joe Allbaugh and Cody Tillia, experienced local franchisees.
Allbaugh and Tillia bring a wealth of experience to Hounds Town. Allbaugh’s extensive background in accounting, coupled with Tillia’s career in customer service, has already driven the success of their Strip District location, which opened in 2019. Seeing the rising demand for high-quality dog care, they chose to expand to Carnegie, providing more pet owners with a trusted facility where dogs can socialize, exercise, and receive top-notch care.
“We’re thrilled to bring Hounds Town’s unique, fully interactive environment to Carnegie,” said Allbaugh, co-owner of Hounds Town Carnegie. “With our first location, we saw how much the community valued a space where dogs could be themselves, and we wanted to offer that same experience to pet owners in Carnegie. Hounds Town isn’t just a dog care facility, it’s a place where dogs can truly thrive and we’re looking forward to officially opening our second location.”
Hounds Town is truly a unique pet care business, with services that include interactive dog daycare, pet boarding, and stress-free spa services. Managed by a well-trained staff, dogs can play all day, providing both physical and mental stimulation, with a group of dogs that match their size and temperament for safe and fun socialization — guaranteeing a Hounds Town Hangover when pets go home. Further setting itself apart, Hounds Town has a no-breed discrimination policy, making it easier for all pet owners to find reliable care.
“Joe and Cody have excelled at building a community with their first location, and we’re confident their new facility in Carnegie will maintain the high standards and welcoming environment that define Hounds Town,” said Rob Flanagan, CEO of Hounds Town USA. “We’re excited to expand our presence in Pittsburgh and know that Joe and Cody’s dedication will make the Carnegie location a beloved destination for local pet owners.”
