The main highlights of the month are the start of the mechanical assembly of the Fiber Line, as well as the digester of the same Fiber Line, Drying and Caustification. Progress can also be seen in the construction of the Water Treatment (ETA), Boiler Water Treatment (ETAC) and Effluent Treatment (ETE) stations, among other important advances in the various structures and buildings that make up the new factory. in Ribas do Rio Pardo.

Cerrado Project
Announced in May 2021 and confirmed by Suzano's Board of Directors in early November of the same year, the Cerrado Project will receive a total investment of BRL 19.3 billion and, at the peak of the works, should generate around 10,000 direct jobs. Scheduled to start operating in the second half of 2024, the new factory – which will be Suzano's most competitive unit – will produce 2.55 million tons of eucalyptus pulp per year, employing 3 thousand people, including own employees and third parties , in the forestry and industrial areas, and moving the entire economic chain in the region.
